How To Use
Getting the Perfect Fit
Every guitar sits slightly differently inside a case. Additional pads let you customise the interior — filling any gaps so your instrument is held firmly in place during transport. We recommend hot glue for the strongest hold, but fabric glue or carpet tape also work well.
Open pads have an open top with removable foam inserts. Size them to your case, glue them to the interior edge, and tuck the top into the gap between the foam and the shell. The foam inside can be trimmed down for a perfect fit.
Closed pads are sealed cushions — like a small pillow. Typically used in the lid to push the instrument down into the case, but they work anywhere you need extra pressure or padding.
Available as open only, closed only, or as a mix pack (2 open + 2 closed) if you want to try both. Use the selector above to choose your pack.
Standard pads have approximately ½″ of foam — fine for most cases. Thick pads have approximately 1–1¼″ of foam — for instruments that sit noticeably loose or need extra cushioning.
- Glue pads to the interior where your guitar has room to move
- Open pads: tuck the top into the edge between foam and shell
- Closed pads: press into the lid or body cavity
- Trim the foam inserts to size if needed
- Close the case and gently shake — if anything shifts, add more
- We recommend hot glue for the strongest hold
