Hiscox case production has ended, and this is the last of the stock. There is no warehouse behind these any more and no one here but me. A case that comes back at this stage is not something I can put on a shelf and sell again — it is a loss on the way out.
So please order the case you actually want, rather than one to try. If you are not certain about the fit, email me before you buy. I would far rather spend ten minutes answering you than have you send it back.

- If you cancel, you arrange and pay for the return yourself, tracked and insured. For a case that is realistically £25–£35, and the risk in transit is yours until it reaches us.
- The refund is reduced for any handling beyond what you could do in a shop — marked shell, scuffed catches, or packaging that has been destroyed rather than opened.
- Only the cheapest standard delivery option is refundable. Upgraded delivery is not.
- Returns are received at the Foston showroom by prior arrangement. Email first — we cannot take unannounced deliveries.
- Trade and business purchases are final. The consumer cancellation right does not apply to them.

Hiscox Cases have been protecting guitars, basses, and other stringed instruments since 1985. Designed and engineered in Staffordshire, England, every case is built around Liteflite composite construction, a double-moulded process that bonds a 2mm ABS outer shell to a cellular polyurethane foam inner. The result is a case rated to 500kg of crushing force that weighs around half what a traditional flight case does.
What sets Hiscox apart from other hard cases is the aluminium valance. A hand-fitted, double-lipped aluminium rim runs the full perimeter of every case lid and base. All hardware, from hinges and latches to the four D-ring strap attachment points, is riveted through this aluminium rather than into the plastic. Most competitors rivet hardware directly into ABS, which loosens over time. The Hiscox valance also seals the join between lid and base, providing water resistance and extra structural rigidity.
Inside, Triple Shield Technology combines crush strength, shock absorption through a proprietary polyurethane blend, and Thermo-Balance thermal insulation to resist the rapid temperature changes that damage glue joints and finishes. The interior is lined with non-shedding, dye-fast crushed velour, with an anti-whiplash guard to cushion the headstock and a safe-space lid design that protects switches, knobs, and bridges from pressure.
